The following is my senior capstone project for my Geography bachelor's degree at Keene State College. My group and I were tasked with partnering with the Chesterfield Historical Society to locate, map, and identify potential historic cellar hole locations from the early 1800s to preserve for educational purposes. As head writer and organizer for this project, I was responsible for scheduling meetings, ensuring my group maintain deadlines, and organizing work in the field to complete this project. This project included extensive historical research, collecting tabular data in the field, administering surveys, holding public forums and presentations, and using GIS software to create readable and interactive maps for the public of Chesterfield to use and add data to.
