Shade Equity Suitability Analysis

For this assignment, I was tasked with calculating a priority score for every census tract in Los Angeles to determine which communities needed the most trees planted to promote shade equity. Furthermore, I was able to determine how many trees could be allotted to each census tract of the available fictional number of 90,000. Areas in darker green indicate that these tracts are in the most need of trees planted.

Tools used in this analysis include Suitability Analysis and the Data Engineering toolset.
